"I portray female figures in a frontal position. This position is chosen because it has a stronger confrontation of the gaze, however I wear dark or mirrored glasses to prevent access to intimacy. In their minds, I exaggerate the symbols to demonstrate stereotypes of femininity that succumb to excesses of consumption - "it will be everything, but it will not be it". The constructed image of futility and objectification is perpetuated in a Latin American society."
